Note : To reset the setting configuration after caching EDIDs, you are required to unplug the power input to the Expander hubs for reconfiguration if there is conflict in the monitors setting. Power off the system will not reset the Expander hub EDID caching info stored,

The DisplayPort 1.2 MST solution is designed to support the following Microsoft Windows® platforms:

Reference information on how to enable multiple displays with DisplayPort 1.2 Expander using AMD graphics products.  Before getting started, the following is required:

◾DisplayPort 1.2 Expander Hubs

◾A supported AMD graphics solution with DisplayPort 1.2 output

◾AMD Catalyst™ Software Suite Version 14.12 or later available, here. 

The AMD solution for driving multiple displays with DisplayPort 1.2 Expander is designed with “plug and play” usability in mind.  Once the Expander output to monitors are connected, the displays will be enabled in the system as if they were connected via their own separate inputs - the displays can be configured in the usual way within AMD CatalystTM Control Center

Graphic Card Compatibility :

- Radeon HD 7950 or Radeon R9 280x DisplayPort for high performance solution.

- AMD or Nvidia Workstation graphics cards series. (Recommend AMD)

- Hardware does not support DisplayPort 1.1 output devices.

Application

The device is an external SST unit that sits between the computer DisplayPort 1.2 and output to 6 DVI monitors.

Input: 2x DisplayPort v1.2 full size connector

Output:  6x DVI ports

Support for each monitor output to have its own configuration:

•  Bezel Correction - Allows for each monitor to have independent bezel correction.
•  Rotation - Independently support different rotations per monitor, great for PLP setups in X1 formation via AMD graphics card and AMD Eyefinity configuration setting.
•  Image UP/Down Scaling - Take a portion of your input signal and scale it to fit your monitors as needed.
•  DirectX Independent - Totally independent of DirectX version giving both forward and backwards compatibility!
•  Different Resolutions - Run different resolutions on each monitor for those whom have a mis-matched set of screens.
•  Easily Configurable - Simple editing of custom input and output configurations via a DisplayPort 1.2 connection to a PC.
•  Low Latency - A delay of just 1 single video frame.
