The 775BVCG5 Tri-Xpander supports 3x3 mode monitor formation feature receives DisplayPort™ 1.2 from the GPU and each VHDCI cable expand to one group of 3 display monitor of wide screen of 3840 x 1024 resolution or total expand to 3 groups with AMD Eyefinity (1x3) resolution of 3840 x 1024 output to 3x3 Matrix formation @3840x3072 @60Hz refresh rate with "No Tearing Video Effect" in one video wall. 
 
Target for the large video wall requirement displaying beyond 6 displaying video wall at cost saving. The design will also support 9x clone in 1920 x1080 from single GPU or combined clone + expand wide screen mode for more flexibility configuration at low cost compared to workstation graphics solution. Customer looking for this type of solution are from the commercial requirement usually connecting to many external HUBs expander or more than one card in extend mode adding up to more than 6 displays and normally two or more display cards to meet the requirement will experience video tearing timing due to GPUs across the slots or expensive workstation card possible working for 3x3 formation display wall. Recommend for insisting on good quality 4K video content displaying video wall at ease and maintenance.

** All displays must run at the same resolution in stretched desktop mode.   

** Maximum horizontal resolution cannot exceed 16Kx16K under Windows.  

** Total resolution display in 9x1 stretch desktop mode Eyefinity 9x1 @11520 x 1024 60Hz is the highest resolution limitation for AMD GPUs with 12kx12k resolution. 


** Stretched 9x1 desktop mode available across displays attached to one card with Eyefinity mode.

** Individual displays cannot be pivoted; Need to pivot group of three displays.

        EDID caching feature

        • EDID is information about supported display resolutions and modes that is stored on display such as Monitor, TV or projector.
        • In Windows 7, 8, 10 if you unplug a display that will trigger a hot plug event which may reconfigure your displays.
        • With the EDID cached info., the OS will always think the display is attached.
        • Provide consistent EDID cached info. to ensure video is displayed correctly even when monitors is dis-connected or defected.

        Transmission based on Gauge of Wire : 0 to 15M over HDMI cable requirement :  

        - HDMI (24AwG) cable can transmit the maximum distance up to 30m and support the resolution 720P, 1080I or 1080P;

        - HDMI (28AwG) cable can transmit the maximum distance up to 15m and support the resolution 720P, 1080I or 1080P;

        - HDMI (30AwG) cable can transmit the maximum distance up to 10m and support the resolution 720P, 1080I or 1080P

        DVI/HDMI  Cable length - In general, cable lengths up to 15 feet (4.6 m) will work for display resolutions up to 1920 × 1200

        For greater distances, the use of a DVI/HDMI booster – a signal repeater which may use an external power supply – is recommended to help mitigate signal degradation.

        Bezel Compensation Utility Feature :

        Bezel Compensation Support : Driver level bezel correction allows you compensate for the dead space between your LCDs and converts this area into a blind spot, rather than a hard stop. Prior to introduction of bezel correction, textures would end on one monitor and abruptly start on the second, creating a very disjointed image. The bezel correction works by creating a custom resolution for your configuration and broadcasting this as the native setting for all your apps. Bezel correction is an optional step when setting up a new Eyefinity group in the Catalyst control center, so make sure you don’t miss it. You might not notice it in a racing game when looking at the grass or sky, but it will stick out like a sore thumb when you’re looking at a face that has been incorrectly split in two by a 4-inch bezel.
